Books from the Philippines are slightly expensive. I think I spent about p1400 in just two hardbound books in one week. But I really wanted a copy of Etiquette and Espionage in HB and I've looked in 8 bookstores and 4 cities for a hardbound copy of Anna and the French Kiss. Heck, finding even one copy was hard enough!
So when I saw the books, I instantly bought them without second thoughts.
But still, it is a pretty expensive hobby! What about you guys, what's the most you've spent for books in a week?

You have NO idea. I spend more on books than most women spend on shoes. I have to hide my receipts from my husband, lol.
ReplyDeleteUm, I've spent $100 plus dollars in a single bookstore trip.
DeleteI can relate. If I had my credit card with me, I would spent over a $100 in one sitting in one online shopping stint.
DeleteAnd yes, I buy more books than shoes. I can do without new shoes but I cannot go to the mall without going to the bookstore. It's insane! But I don't even want to get well.
i agree....and it's even harder if you're still a student *my sentiments*

Hello fellow Filipina! Looking forward to seeing your reviews!
DeleteI know. I just recently graduated and all my books back then were from the bargain bin and booksales. But the upside is I became quite the expert at sniffing out reduced prices of books!
