Hello, welcome to My Book Musings! My nickname is Goldie and I'm an independent-location blogger, copy editor by profession, and an intermittent traveler.

This blog revolves around the books I read or excited to read. I read various genres, and sometimes it's hard to find other bloggers who read the same books I enjoy. Reading is my escapist pleasure, and I don't want to stress myself out too much with blogging (that's what everyday life is for, eh?) so I don't post as often as others do.

My favorite books are Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion by Jane Austen, the Harry Potter series, the Artemis Fowl series, funny books like those by Gordon Korman, and a lot of other interesting books from different genres. From the world of Philippine literature, I love Lualhati Bautista, the Beerkada comics, Trese graphic novels, and Pugad Baboy

I have officially closed this blog on July 10, 2017 and will not be reviewing anymore books. If you would like to keep in touch, I have transferred to http://haejafranca.com.

I do not do promotional events for books I am unfamiliar with, haven't read, or not interested in reviewing or reading. My blog is a reflection of my interests and beliefs, so I can only promote the books/graphic novels I know and like.
