Welcome to the That One Line meme! 'That One Line' is a weekly meme created and hosted by me, Goldie, of My Book Musings, relating a particular sentence/phrase/paragraph that you find particularly striking. I usually post on Thursdays!
Don't forget to add your link so others can check out your post and, hopefully, be inspired as I've been! I've found it so interesting to read the quotes shared by others and their insights, if any.
It should be from a book although quotes related to reading are also welcome. It doesn’t have to be a book that you just finished but can be something that you read before and just want to share it.
I have quite forgotten about Paulo Coelho, no offense. It's been years since I've read his work, because I felt like things were getting too repetitive. However, I still remember how much I truly enjoyed his books before, such as the book where I found this awesome quote:
“Life moves very fast. It rushes us from heaven to hell in a matter of seconds.”
This is from his book Eleven Minutes, which I read when I was too young and not quite able to comprehend the full extent of what I was reading until the very end. In fact, I was close to boredom until I was near the ending and I was just struck speechless by the beauty of the story.
Anyway, I think the line expresses how I feel when one minute life is just full of joy, then the next I'm wondering what I did to merit such bad karma. Or maybe I'm just highly hormonal and emotional. Sometimes, I'm not really sure!
How about you, read any good lines lately?
Happy musings. :)
I totally forgot about the meme because of my sched. hehe. but I'm back!

I love that book! Like you, I wasn't able to comprehend it at first but as I continue reading, I realized that the book was really awesome! :)
